About iSAMN2019

The 3rd International Symposium on Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology (iSAMN 2019), will take place in Putrajaya, Malaysia in August 2019. This event has been organized by the Institute of Advanced Technology (ITMA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) for the past 16 years. This two-day symposium will be organized by ITMA in collaboration with the Malaysia Solid State Science and Technology Society (MASS). The event covers a wide range of topics from basic principles to new emerging applications in advanced materials and nanotechnologies. A pool of research experts in nanomaterial and nanotechnology are anticipated to take part in the 2019 event.

Call for Papers

The organizing committee for the 3rd International Symposium on Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology (iSAMN 2019) invites chemists, physicists, and researchers from both the academia and the industry to submit original research abstracts.  The symposium will be held in Putrajya, Malaysia from 19th - 20th of August 2019.  The theme of the symposium is “Achieving Sustainability through Innovative Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology”.

The theme for the symposium covers a broad research area of advanced materials research as well as nanotechnology related works.  The topics for the symposium thus include, but are not limited to:

  • Smart, nano, and eco-materials
  • Nanotechnology devices
  • Functional and structural materials
  • Energy generation, harvesting and storage
  • Water treatment and remediation
  • Health and medical sciences, biotechnology
  • Agriculture, food, and feedstock
  • Socio-economic impact
