Rapid growth of the world’s population has brought along the unavoidable and critical increase in the demand for transportation means and energy consumption. Asean Smart Grid Congress stimulate discussions, exchange of information and ideas on smartgrid research, technology and implementation. ASGC is considered as an important platform in moving forward the Smart Grid Technology into the ASEAN region. The International Conference on Sustainable Energy (ICSE) is a bi-annual conference held by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT). This conference is a platform for technological exchanges amongst researchers from diverse disciplines of science, engineering and management.

The 3rd ASEAN Smart Grid Congress (ASGC3) and the 5th International Conference on Sustainable Energy (ICSE5) is organized at Ho Chi Minh City Unversity of Technology as a joint conference. The main objectives of the conferences are to: - Bring together experts, researchers, academics and potential users to exchange knowledge and ideas on economics, technology, training and other aspects of Smart Grid, energy engineering featuring field visits and presentations. - Initiate and maintain cooperation networks on energy engineering and smart grid technology among ASEAN countries. - Develop R&D and capacity building in moving forward. We would like to invite you to participate in the 3rd ASGC and the 5th ISCE, which will be organizing in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from 4th - 6th December 2017. This special event is a contribution to our 60th university anniversary.
Interested authors are cordially invited to submit abstracts and full papers in English. You are requested to submit extended abstracts in MS Word format to (icse@hcmut.edu.vn) no later than 15 Sep 2017. All submissions will be peer-reviewed based on originality, technical quality and presentation. Authors are required to attend the conference and present papers themselves. The acceptance of papers will be notified to the Corresponding Author by 30 Sep 2017. Full paper (maximum 6 pages in length, as per the specific format) should reach the Organizers, no later than 5 Nov 2017. Accepted papers for presentation at the Conference (peer-reviewed by the Program Committee) will be published in the Proceedings (with ISBN), which will be available at the first day of the Conference.
