About SoftCOM 2019

The 27th SoftCOM 2019 is co-organized by the University of Split, FESB and Croatian Communications and Information Society (CCIS), and co-sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society. The conference will be held on September 19-21, 2019 in Split, Croatia. Authors are invited to submit their high-quality papers representing original results in all areas of communications software, services and applications, telecommunications and computer networks. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings, and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.

Symposium on Smart Environments & Internet of Things IEEE ComSoc Technical Co-Sponsorship

Symposium on “Smart Environments & Internet of Things” will be held  in the frame of the 27th International Conference on Software, Telecommunications and  Computer Networks (SoftCOM 2019), technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc),  in hotel Radisson Blu Resort in attractive ambience of Split on September 19-21, 2019. Recent advances in areas like pervasive computing, machine learning, wireless and sensor networking enable various smart environment applications in everyday life.  The main goal of this symposium is to present and discuss recent advances in the area of the Internet of Things, in particular on technologies, architectures, algorithms and protocols for smart environments with emphasis on real smart environment applications that are becoming research topics more and more interesting for both academia and industry.

Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and  submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. Authors of selected best papers will be invited to submit an extended version of  their manuscripts for publication in a special issue of  the Journal of Communications Software and Systems (JCOMSS).
