The STD Research 2020 mission is to improve the knowledge and understanding of STD, HIV and AIDS; the host response to HIV Retroviruses, Transmission, and Infection; and the prevention and treatment of STD, HIV and AIDS.
Main theme of the conference is “Accelerate progress in the response by advancing HIV science and research”.
STD Research 2020 pursues the following objectives:
- To facilitate scientific exchange through an Annual international STD Research symposium
- To enable other symposiums, educational activities, and/or publications as appropriate to the STD Research mission
- To promote scientific collaboration and research
- To promote public awareness of STD, HIV and AIDS treatment and prevention
