About BalticSTE2021

On behalf of the organizing committee, we are delighted to welcome you to Šiauliai, Lithuania, for the IV International Baltic Symposium on Science and Technology Education, BalticSTE 2021. The Symposium will be held in Šiauliai (Lithuania) in June 2021 during days 21-24. We cordially encourage you to attend and contribute to one of the major events of 2021 on the field of science and technology education. We are confident that you will appreciate the scientific program and the city of Šiauliai. We look forward to seeing you in 2021 in Lithuania.

Call for Papers

SHORT PAPER

(For the registration you are kindly invited to submit a short paper)

 

Delegates, who would like to present their work at the BalticSTE2021, are invited to submit a short paper for consideration by the Scientific Committee.

 

The proposal should be plain text typed in English and should be between 4 and 5/6 A4 page (approx. 2000-4000 words). Texts margins: top and bottom 20mm, left - 25mm, right - 20mm. The text must be elaborated in Word for Windows, using 11 point Times New Roman letters, line spacing – single.

 

Title of contribution author(s) - name first then the family name; affiliation: institution, city, country;

 

The main text that should contain: 1. Abstract (80-100 words, in 10 pt size) + keywords (3 - 5 keywords).

2. Introduction: Background, framework and purpose/research questions etc. 3. Research (Study) Methodology: General characteristics, sample, instrument and procedures, data analysis etc. 4. Research Results 5. Conclusions and implications

6. Acknowledgements (if any)

7. References (Cited references only APA 7thed. Some examples can be found here:

The use of footnotes to the text is not recommended. The work should be written in an impersonal style.

 

One presenting author may submit only one short paper. A Short Paper which is more than 6 pages will be returned.

 

The Short Paper should be prepared as attractively as possible, much like a manuscript for journal submission. Short papers will undergo a peer-review procedure.

None short paper will be published or presented as a poster without the payment of the registration fees

 

Please note that the Short Paper is not required in order to complete your Symposium registration. You can take part in the Symposium as a Listener/Presenter.

 

Accepted Short Papers will be published in the BalticSTE2021 Proceedings (with an ISBN number (print and online)).
