Call for Papers

We invite pioneering thought leaders, inspirational change-makers, best-selling authors, leading educators and expert panellists, alongside young people with lived experience, to share their innovative approaches for helping to build sustainable resilience, wellbeing and mental health in our youth.

To solve any recurring problem, you need to address that problem at source. Stress, anxiety, self-image, social media, violence, knife crime and self-harm are just some of the enormous issues our young people are facing today. Crucially, this conference is not about becoming more aware of these problems – it is about understanding them at source and finding sustainable solutions.

IHEART – Innate Health Education and Resilience Training – is a registered charity dedicated to increasing mental health, wellbeing and resilience in the UK.

The IHEART Schools Programme is our response to the mental health crisis facing our youth. Our vision is to catalyse a step-change in how young people perceive their wellbeing and mental health, creating resilient adults and contributing members of society. We achieve this by focusing on:

•  Early education, prevention and sustainable solutions

•  Mental wellness rather than mental illness

•  Learning how to access the innate potential and wellbeing that all children possess

•  Understanding the thinking that drives destructive behaviour Since January 2018, we have impacted over 1,500 young people and delivered the programme in 33 schools and educational institutions in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Sweden, South Africa and the USA.
