About LangLitLearn2019

Three days, up to 100 speakers, great resources and an amazing opportunity for anyone with an interest in improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for all students. This incredible event is not to be missed! The Language, Literacy and Learning Conference will provide a wealth of information on the factors influencing the successful acquisition of skills in language, literacy and numeracy. It will be particularly relevant to teachers, principals and administrators, psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, tutors, parents and other key stakeholders concerned with the effective education and support of all school-aged children - including those with learning difficulties.

Call for Papers

DSF has put together an incredible line-up of keynote speakers (see https://literacylanguageconf.c... for more information). We are now calling for expressions of interest from practitioners and researchers keen to participate in the 2019 Conference “Language, Literacy and Learning: Every child a reader. Every child a writer.”

Abstract Submission Guidelines 

Potential speakers can submit their expression of interest via video or abstract submission. 

All speakers should include a brief biography detailing their experience, knowledge and current area of practice. 

Presenters will be selected for a short 15-20 minute oral presentation, a 50 minute informative presentation and discussion or a 110 minute interactive workshop. There will also be an opportunity to include two or three symposia in the program. 

Submissions should be framed around one of the conference themes and should not exceed 350 words (excluding references). 

Videos should be no longer than 5 minutes. 

Submissions (including abstract or video, presenter bio and preference for presentation type) should be emailed to conference@dsf.net.au by 14th September 2018.
