About Morocco Conference

The American Sephardi Federation’s (ASF) Institute of Jewish Experience (IJE) in conjunction with Association Mimouna announce our second annual scholarly and cultural conference. Representing the uniqueness of Moroccan Jewish heritage is a challenge that must be addressed through both the academic study and an experience of spiritual and cultural expression. Together with Association Mimouna, the Institute for Jewish Experience will open an important window onto Moroccan Jewish history, culture and inter-community relations. Over 40 academics and artists from around the world.

Representing the uniqueness of Moroccan Jewish heritage is a challenge that must be addressed through both the academic study and an experience of spiritual and cultural expression. Association Mimouna, the Institute for Jewish Experience will open an important window onto Moroccan Jewish history, culture and inter-community relations. To date over 40 academics and artists from around the world, Jews and Muslims alike, have submitted high caliber abstracts, most of which will be presented through two days of academic sessions.
