About ICG2020

The conference will provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, professionals, and users to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the development and use of gerontechnology. The conference can help to bridge the gap between knowledge and practice and facilitating the development of user-friendly and user-centered technologies. Participants will gain a better understanding of the latest trend of gerontechnology development and the application of gerontechnology in elderly care.

Call for Papers

Gerontechnology has been actively promoted by the government in response to the challenges of our ageing population. Gerontechnology does not only promote independence among older adults, but also enhances their quality of life and further supports them to age in place. The International Conference on Gerontechnology provides an interdisciplinary platform for local and overseas health professionals, researchers and service providers to gain better understanding of the latest trend of gerontechnology development and the application of gerontechnology in elderly care.

Papers on the following topics area are welcome:

1.Use of technology to promote active aging;

2.Assistive technology and smart home technology to assist aging in place;

3.Use of technology to facilitate workflow and healthcare services;

4.Latest development in gerontechnology;

5.Gerontechnology in elderly care, challenges and constraints; and

6.Other topics relevant to the conference.

Papers on all topics related to gerontechnology are welcome. Papers on related topics will also be considered.

Submission Guidelines

For abstract submission, please follow the abstract guidelines.

Abstract submitted for presentation should normally be in English. All abstracts will be automatically considered as poster presentation. Abstracts must be submitted through the online system (Easychair system) below, by following the instruction in the page of “New Submission”.
