About FDC-2018

As a non for profit Scholar activity, our aim is to provide expert presentations from the world’s acclaimed professionals and researchers in a friendly environment to share ideas and to introduce the most recent research advances in the basic and clinical aspects. Abstracts should be submitted in English through our Online Abstract submission Module on the website menu. Submission by e-mail is not recommended, but in case of difficulty do not hesitate to contact us at apcomed2017@gmail.com. A travel Grant of 200€ has been assigned to the young researchers and students with best presentations. Registration Fee: 100-190 Euro

Call for Papers

Topics: Some major topics are recommended but accepted abstracts are not limited to the following topics. Open and frank discussions are encouraged. The speakers can share their personal experiences (successes and failures) and useful tips and tricks with attendees.

  • Industry and Industrialization of food;
  • Food Preservation History and Culture;
  • Beverages, Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks;
  • Nutrition, Food, Drinks and Religions;
  • Ideology and foodways;
  • Cookery information and food recommendations;
  • Forms of discontent through food;
  • Specifics of money and time value under communism and their impact on people’s foodways;
  • Food and gender;
  • Public catering: ideological grounds and economic/cultural practices;
  • National cuisines.

The scientific Committee STRONGLY appreciates and supports the abstracts about the introduction of the following fields:

  • – novel findings in modern and traditional techniques and technologies
  • – Interdisciplinary studies
