About SACCMA2020

The Society for Advanced Cell Culture Modelling for Africa (SACCMA) is a newly established society for researchers in the fields of advanced cell modelling, three-dimensional (3D) cell cultures, 3D bioprinting and stem cell research. The aim of the conference is to promote knowledge exchange and collaboration between researchers, and to stimulate growth of the society. Furthermore, we would like to give postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows more exposure, provide an energizing and informative program of speakers, and facilitate networking opportunities. Keynote talks will be presented by world leaders in the field of advanced cell modelling.

Call for Papers

Background

The Society for Advanced Cell Culture Modelling for Africa is pleased to invite you to attend its inaugural conference. The SACCMA 2020 conference will take place over three days and delegates are invited to present their research under the main topics of three-dimensional cell culture models, bioprinting and stem cells. 

Keynote talks will be presented by world leaders in the field of advanced cell modelling.

Abstract book:

Abstracts invited for oral and poster presentations at the conference will be included in the abstract book for the conference and may be presented on the conference website. 

Please use the template available on the website according to the following guidelines: 

 Topics: The topic of your abstract should align with at least one of the main themes of the conference as stated above

 Format: Use the attached template for your abstract 

 Your abstract should include a title, authors and affiliations 

 Font type, size, colour: Arial | 10 | Black 

 Spacing: Single space  Word count: 300 

 Abstract should be submitted in Word format 

 Short biography: 100-word limit 

 You may include a head & shoulders photograph of yourself as indicated on the template 

 Please make sure that your abstract fits onto a single page

Should your abstract be accepted the Oral and Poster Presentation guidelines will be supplied.
