Call for Papers

The IEEE Region 8 flagship conference in Africa, IEEE AFRICON is to be hosted at the GIMPA Executive Conference Centre in beautiful and hospitable city of Accra, Ghana. IEEE AFRICON 2019 provides a platform for academic and industry professionals from all over the world to share ideas, present their latest research and to network. The conference covers the full spectrum of IEEE activities.

Submission of papers

Prospective authors are invited to submit original technical papers in English, of up to 8 pages in IEEE conference format. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE AFRICON 2019 proceedings and submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The thematic areas of interest are (but not limited to) computational intelligence, communication networks, cloud computing and Internet of Things, Power and Energy Systems, Electrical and Electronic Systems, and Engineering and Technology for Development.
