In this conference, DigitalHR Middle East Africa (MEA), we will hear from seasoned HR industry leaders from across MEA from SAP, Google, IBM, Aramex, Gems Education, JLL and Honeywell, on what forward-thinking organisations are currently doing to optimise talent acquisition and enhance the ’employee experience’ by utilising different technologies, digital platforms and leveraging data.

In the CIPD presentation, ‘The Future of Work is Human’, Ramy Bayyour, General Manager, CIPD – Middle East, will share insights into the pressing need to revisit the role of humans at the precipice of great technological disruption.

Artificial intelligence for more informed decision-making

David van Lochem, Vice-President Sales, Middle East and Africa, KPISOFT, will share insights into how artificial intelligence can help leaders make more informed decisions based on raw data to illuminate the path forward and not just as past indicators of performance.

Dr. David Stillwell, Academic Director and Vesselin Popov, Executive Director, The Psychometrics Centre, University of Cambridge, will deliver a two-part workshop in the afternoon on big data opportunities for HR and responsible implementation.

The workshop will present a framework that distinguishes big data from data and present some state-of-the-art examples where organisations have leveraged these new technologies to generate value in their HR functions. It will also provide an in-depth review of the challenges to implementation of Big Data practices and how to overcome them.
