About CHC2019

Over three days, through presentations, debates, and discussions, we showcase cutting-edge research abstracts, address knowledge gaps head-on, and inspire innovation through open exchange to drive improved health outcomes for people living with hypertension, and more. Responding to the primary care community’s needs, this year’s theme is “A Whole-Patient Approach”. Our Scientific and Clinical Tracks addresses the most-requested topics in hypertension and adjacent conditions for whole-patient care.

Call for Papers

We are now accepting abstracts for the 2019 Canadian Hypertension Congress. All abstracts must be submitted in English. For more information on submission, please read the submission rules and Hypertension Canada guidelines below. The submission deadline is June 30, 2019 at 11:59 pm EST. 

Abstract grading is blind and conducted by a group of experts within a relevant field. The Review Committee is responsible for grouping the abstracts appropriately for their particular specialty or association. Abstracts are selected on the basis of scientific merit. All abstracts submitted must comply with these guidelines to be considered for acceptance. Notification of acceptance or rejection of abstracts will be emailed by July 22nd, 2019. Guidelines for oral or poster presentations will be provided to authors of accepted abstracts.
