About AICEI 2020
This multi-disciplinary conference aims to bring together leading academics, researchers, research scholars, individuals and non-governmental organizations, to exchange and discuss their experience and views on all aspects of climate change and prospects of building resilience. It seeks to examine the effects of climate change on every aspect of the individual, social and global functioning. Taking into consideration the pressing need to undertake action to avoid the worst impacts of climate change, this conference aims to critically reflect on the thoughts, actions and ideas that may raise awareness, knowledge and motivation to combat this global threat.

Who can apply?
We welcome contributions from researchers, academics, doctoral candidates and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Types of contributionsBased on your affiliation and interests you can submit your contribution to one of the following:
Oral (Paper) presentationWe welcome papers of maximum 4500 words. All papers will undergo double-blind peer-review. We will consider papers written by a maximum of three authors, and not more than two contributions from the same author. Only original works which are not currently under consideration elsewhere will be considered for publishing.
Poster presentationPoster size should be A1 (59.4 x 84.1 cm). All posters will be exhibited during the conference one-hour poster session. Authors are invited to present their works face to face to individuals and small groups.
Doctoral ColloquiumThe Colloquium provides a limited number of outstanding current and past doctoral students with an opportunity to discuss and receive feedback on the subject, methodology and approach of their dissertation research from a panel of peers and academic mentors. Research should be presented in the form of an academic paper. Successfully refereed papers will be published in the 2020 Conference Proceedings.
Special Session on NGOs and Climate ChangeThis session provides excellent and unique opportunity for regional NGOs working on climate change and related issues, to share their research, views and activities. All interested NGOs are invite to submit a brief situational analyses (as outlined in the Instructions for Authors). Accepted situational analyses will be published in a special issue of the Conference Proceedings.
