About ESP20

International ESP Teachers’ Association (IESPTA) invites proposals for the 4th international ESP conference that will be held on May 21-22, 2020, at National Distance Educational University (UNED), in Spain. This conference is devoted to highlighting contributions in ESP through a call to embrace researchers worldwide as world citizens who are interested in ESP. The conference theme is “Mediating Specialized Knowledge: Current approaches in ESP research and practice”. This conference is expected to foster interdisciplinary studies to foster ESP in an engaging milieu and make connections among ESP researchers.

Publication

A selection of full papers after peer review from the conference will be sent as a proposal to a prestigious publisher to be published as a book.

Paper Submissions:

Please submit your proposal online. All submission must be submitted online. If you have any difficulty, please contact espconference2020@gmail.com. In your email, please include the following information:

  • their name,
  • affiliation,
  • email address (contact details) and
  • a short biography (30 words max)

in the submitted MS-Word documents. It should be written in Times New Roman with 12 font size. Abstract should be 250 words in length including references.

Each oral presentation is expected to take approximately 25 minutes at most (20 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for the discussion).

The 4th ESP conference is organised by IESPTA and hosted by UNED, Spain.
