Call for Papers

Session 1: Child Healthcare

Children's health includes the physical, mental, emotional and social well-being of children from embryonic stage to puberty. According to the schedule recommended by the physician or pediatrician, children should have regular check-ups. As per American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), children should be advised for well-baby check-ups at two weeks, two months, four months, six months, nine months, twelve months, fifteen months, and eighteen months. Well-child visits are suggested at ages two, three, four, five, six, eight, 10, and annually thereafter through age 21.

Family health care is a new branch which is recently introduced in New York State in 2010. It allows the relatives of patients to create medical decisions for their family members in the absence of a living will. These professionals, as a result of their experience and connections with the family, are best qualified to serve as every patient’s advocate in all health related matters, including health services.

Session 6: Family Planning Methods

Family planning method is a technique through which planning can be done for when to have children, and implementation of such techniques is useful for birth control. Some other methods which plays an important role in family planning includes sexual education, prevention and management of sexually transmitted infections, pre-conception counselling and management, and infertility management.

Session 9: Pregnant Women Diabetes

It is clinical condition in which blood glucose level increases during pregnancy. It occurs when insulin receptor do not work appropriately. Factors that give rise to diabetes in pregnancy are presence of human placental lactogen which interferes with susceptible receptors of insulin.

It can be defined as a practitioner who provides initial contact for a person without diagnosing health concern as well as long-term care of different medical conditions which is not limited to cause, organ system or diagnosis. A primary care physician is first practitioner who contact patient because of easy and simple communication and to provide care to the patients.
